So you want to duel, eh? Each person gets three spells in one turn. I can't really explain how this is going to work, so please go to the website on this page.
You can make spells:
John:
"Recolectionta ((makes a person forget what their going to say)),"
Or something of that nature. I am not very good at dueling. If you want to see some real dueling (you must go here in order to understand), go to s8.invisionfree.com/Hogwarts_Kingdom/index.php?showforum=113
They were having a tri-wizard tournaument (something I would like to do if we can get this place into shape).
Please do not use any unforgivable curses.
I have found some guide lines and an example on another site:
Gryffindor Champ VS. Ravenclaw Champ
(pretend the gryffindor champ wins a toss and goes first)
Post 1- Gryffindor attacks Ravenclaw with attack spell
Post 2- Ravenclaw defends the attack spell, and can use two spells to attack Gryffindor
Post 3- Gryffindor defends the attack spells, and can use two spells to attack Ravenclaw
Post 4- Ravenclaw defends the attack spells, and can use two spells to attack Gryffindor
Post 5- Gryffindor defends the attack spells, and can use two spells to attack Ravenclaw
Post 6- Ravenclaw defends the attack spells, and can use two spells to attack Gryffindor
Post 7- Gryffindor defends the attack spells, and can use two spells to attack Ravenclaw
Post 8- Ravenclaw defends the attack spells, and can use two spells to attack Gryffindor
Post 9- Gryffindor defends the attack spells, and can use two spells to attack Ravenclaw
Post 10- Ravenclaw defends the attack spells, and can use two spells to escape or end the duel
This format can be followed, so that each champ gets 5 posts per duel.
They are allowed up to three spells per post.
They can make up spells as needed.
Judging-
-Judging will be done by three people who will give a 1-10 rating decided by the creativity involved in the creation of spells and thier ability to duel efficiently. (the average of these three judges' scores will decide the winner of that particular duel)
-Since each champ will have 3 duels total, we can add their points together from all three duels.
-The champ with the highest score wins.
In the case of a tie-
-we could look back to the duel between the two champs who tied and the winner of that duel wins the enitre task
-there could be another deciding duel
So, there it is. Pick a partner and start dueling! Please make a new thread if you are going to duel. You can write:
I'm ready to duel. Who's willing to take me on?
Or something like that.
I must add, there is a dueling class that you may want to attend to first to learn the basics.
